What’s the Akron Cultural Plan?
We know that diverse opportunities to experience arts, culture and the environment are the keys to creating a vibrant and prosperous community.
Together, Akron will be engaging in a city-wide, collaborative cultural planning process set to evaluate existing arts, cultural, and environmental resources while also examining the needs and desires of residents from across Akron’s 24 neighborhoods.
Its goal is to strengthen the City, advance cultural diversity, increase opportunities to create culture, and provide vibrant experiences for all residents and visitors.
