Mayor proposing new public art program in Akron

In July of 2020, the City of Akron's City Council voted to approve the Plan for Public Art! This plan was one of ten priorities identified by the community as necessary to ensure public access and vibrancy across the city.

In the fall of 2020 a Commission was seated, and in 2021 the Commission began accepting requests for public land use.
